- Dance class on Friday’s at 4pm or 5pm. Arrange a dance class for every Friday at 4pm or 5pm for all of your employees to attend, or if you’re a large employer, have them go for an hour throughout the day. Dance is lighter than aerobics or yoga so there won’t be a high sweat intake, but still a nice work out.
- Pay for employees to have a gym membership. Some gyms charge as low as $8 per employee per month. This makes for an excellent perk.
- Walk the neighborhood. Go for a company walk to stretch everyone’s legs and meet/see the neighbors along the way.
- Casual Fridays can be changed to work out outfit Fridays.
- Massages. Physical Therapy for the muscles for employees who already do much activity and heavy lifting.
- Take a fitness challenge. Check online to see if there is a fitness challenge out there that the entire office can get in on.
- Have a Back Safe expert come in and train your employees on back safe exercises.
- Buy fitness DVD’s for your employees. Let them become more active in their own time and take fitness DVD’s home.
- Bootcamp is something that requires discipline, followership, and leadership. Sign up your untrained team for a Bootcamp.
- Pay your employees for working out or ceasing smoking. Get their gym attendance record and pay them cash for working out. Also, provide them with a monthly cash bonus equivalent to a carton of cigarettes when they skip their cigarette breaks.
