- Check for all the tourist destinations at your final destination. See if there is anything you like specifically, museums, exhibits, events, etc.
- Check for any tourist destinations along the highway you will be taking for your road trip.
- Write down the top 25 places you want to see while on your trip.
- Check for any restaurants that have high stars and have been in business for a long time. Write down all the ones that are recommended by someone at your destination point. Pick out the top 9 and make sure that you go to one of the recommended restaurants.
- Make sure your AAA is paid for even if you’re not driving. It works when you’re a passenger and can come in handy even when given a ride somewhere.
- Check train and bus fare against the cost of driving. Go with the option that matches your preference.
- Write down the police station and hospital information for your final destination point.
- Buy snacks.
Doing the above should prepare you for your trip and ensure you have something to do and somewhere to see. 🙂
