The Fisher building was built in 1896 and has apartments featuring as recent as 2003 Renovations. While the building was once an office building, the apartments still have original doors and small interior details that have not changed.
The kitchen in the studio I viewed had granite countertops and oak cabinets. The view included much of the skyline buildings and a bit of the Lake. There was ample closet space.
The building has on-site laundry ($3 to wash, $2.75 to dry), a fitness room, and a club area.
If you like an older building and for your unit to feel more lived in, this is a good space to consider. Overall, I rate it a 7 (Grocery store is over 8 blocks away).
