So it’s your employee’s first day! I have a list of things to shower them with:

1. A tour meeting with essential workers in HR, Accounting, Administrative, and Executive Assistants.
2. An $18 gift card to Five Guys, Corner Bakery, or Shake Shack.
3. A $5 gift card to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
4. A Bus Pass, Parking, or Toll Money.
5. A new pair of shoes.
6. A local restaurant and grocery guide.
7. A company pen.
8. A notebook to write notes.
9. An Umbrella or Rain Coat.
10. Socks (if homeless or out of work for more than 1 year).

Make sure their first day is excellent and filled with what they will need to come to work with a smile.
